How to Use
For Hot Tea
Add approximately 1–2 teaspoons of Honeybush Tea to 250 ml of freshly boiled water.
Allow to steep for approximately 5–8 minutes, depending on the desired strength.
Strain before drinking.
Honeybush naturally has a mild, slightly sweet flavour and can be enjoyed on its own or with lemon, honey, cinnamon, or other preferred ingredients.
For a Stronger Brew
For a fuller flavour, increase the amount of Honeybush Tea rather than steeping it for an excessively long time.
Approximately 2 teaspoons per cup will produce a richer infusion while maintaining its smooth character.
For Iced Honeybush Tea
Prepare the tea slightly stronger than usual using approximately 2 teaspoons per cup of hot water.
Allow to steep, strain, and cool completely before refrigerating.
Serve chilled over ice. Lemon, fresh herbs, or fruit may be added for flavour.
For Herbal Tea Blends
Honeybush combines well with other herbs available from Hambelela Organic.
It may be blended with ingredients such as Hibiscus for a more tart and fruity tea, Cinnamon for warmth, or other suitable herbs depending on the flavour and wellness blend being prepared.
Because Honeybush has a naturally mild and slightly sweet flavour, it works well as a base for herbal tea mixtures.
