HOW TO USE IT
1. Usage Rates
-
2% – 5% → Light lotions
-
4% – 6% → Medium creams
-
6% – 10% → Thick creams, body butters, balms
Always pair with a fatty alcohol (like cetearyl alcohol) if you want extra body and stability.
2. Method (Standard Lotion/Cream)

Oil Phase:
Add Ercamuls LF 20 to your oils, butters, and oil-soluble ingredients. -
Heat Phase:
Heat oil phase to 70–75°C until Polawax fully melts. -
Water Phase:
Heat water phase separately to the same temperature. -
Emulsification:
Slowly pour water phase into oil phase while mixing (stick blender or hand mixer). -
Cool Down Phase:
Add heat-sensitive ingredients (preservatives, essential oils, vitamins) below 40°C. -
Mix until fully thickened.
