How to Use

1. Fill a pot with 5–8cm of water and bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.
2. Place the double boiler insert over the pot, ensuring the base does not touch the water.
3. Add your ingredients to the insert and allow them to melt gently, stirring occasionally.
4. Monitor the temperature with a thermometer to ensure materials do not overheat.
5. Once fully melted, carefully lift the insert using the handle and proceed with your recipe.
6. Allow to cool before washing with warm soapy water or placing in the dishwasher.

Safety

• Always use heat-resistant gloves or oven mitts when handling the insert during and after use
• Ensure the water in the pot does not boil dry — check levels regularly
• Do not allow water to splash into the insert as this can ruin wax and chocolate formulations
• Keep out of reach of children when in use with hot materials
• The insert and its contents will be hot — handle with care
• Do not place directly over an open flame without water in the pot below
