HOW TO USE IT 

1. Usage Rates

• 2% – 5% → Light lotions

• 4% – 6% → Medium creams

• 6% – 10% → Thick creams, body butters, balms

Always pair with a fatty alcohol (like cetearyl alcohol) if you want extra body and stability.

2. Method (Standard Lotion/Cream)

1. Oil Phase:
   Add Ercamuls LF 20 to your oils, butters, and oil-soluble ingredients.

2. Heat Phase:
   Heat oil phase to 70–75°C until Polawax fully melts.

3. Water Phase:
   Heat water phase separately to the same temperature.

4. Emulsification:
   Slowly pour water phase into oil phase while mixing (stick blender or hand mixer).

5. Cool Down Phase:
   Add heat-sensitive ingredients (preservatives, essential oils, vitamins) below 40°C.

6. Mix until fully thickened.
