How to melt your Cocoa Butter:

1. Use the Double-Boiler Method:

The recommended way to melt cocoa butter is using the double-boiler method. Place the butter inside a heat-safe glass bowl on top of a large pot. Fill that pot with water and bring it to a simmer. As the water heats up, it’ll gently begin to melt the cocoa butter. Stir with a spatula so it evenly melts. Ensure it is slightly cooled before applying it to your skin or body.

2. Use the Microwave

Place it in a heat-safe bowl then microwave it for about 30 seconds. Stir with a spoon to ensure it’s all melted then allow it to cool slightly before incorporating it into your hair or onto your skin.
