- SCI can be melted gently using a double boiler at low heat — do not overheat as it may degrade.
- Combine with co-surfactants such as Coco Glucoside or SLSA to customize lather and skin feel.
- Add conditioning agents, butters, and oils after melting to enhance the final bar’s moisturizing profile.
- Adjust the pH of your finished formulation to 4.5–6.5 for optimal skin compatibility.
Safety
- Avoid inhaling the powder form — work in a well-ventilated area and consider wearing a dust mask when handling
- For external use only — avoid ingestion
- Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
