Cetyl Alcohol

These stabilizing properties ensure that the oils and water remain combined, thus promoting an ideal, smooth texture that ultimately gives the final product an easy glide on the skin or hair. It oils the skin and provides softness, elasticity and smoothness as well as it enhances exfoliation and regeneration of the new epidermis.

Acts as co-emulsifier at concentrations under 2%
Has emollient, moisturizing, and foam boosting properties.

Suggested Use:

Melt before use (54°C/129°F) or add to hot water phase. Usual concentration 0.5-10%.
Applications:

Lotions, creams, hair shampoos, conditioners, body washes, makeup products.
