Black (Turmeric) Pigment Powder

• Base Ingredient: The primary component of traditional Kumkum is turmeric, which is known for its bright yellow color.
• Transformation: The yellow turmeric powder is treated with slaked lime or other alkaline substances, which changes its color to red or orange.

Uses: 

1. DIY Lip Tint or Lip Balm:
   • Ingredients: Kumkum powder, beeswax, shea butter or coconut oil, essential oils (optional).
   • Method:
     1. Melt beeswax and shea butter or coconut oil in a double boiler.
     2. Add a small amount of Kumkum powder to the melted mixture and stir well.
     3. Pour into small containers or lip balm tubes and let it cool and solidify.
   • Application: Apply as a lip tint for a natural red or orange hue. Adjust the amount of Kumkum powder to control the intensity of the color.
2. Blush or Highlighter:
